What is WordCamp Biratnagar?

WordCamp is the WordPress Foundation’s official conference for the WordPress website building platform.

There are more than 100 annual WordCamps held across the globe each year, where tens of thousands of software engineers, designers, webmasters and business marketers go to learn about web publishing. This is the first time in Biratnagar. It is an international program, where participants, speakers, and volunteers attend from all around the world.

The main objectives of these events are to bring together all WordPress lovers, provide them a networking platform, share their experiences and give back to the community. One of the main objectives of WordCamp Biratnagar, Nepal is to bring out local talents and expose globally.

What is the WordPress platform?

For prospective sponsors who are less familiar with web tech, WordPress is an open-source software platform that powers 30 percent of all websites on the Internet. It currently holds a 60 percent market share on all newly published websites. If your company has a presence on the web, it is very likely using WordPress.

In this Sponsorship, you can donate goods or services rather than cash as their sponsorship. These goods/services will be distributed to the participants.
